最近の急激なガソリン高騰で、大きなセダンやミニバンから「そろそろコンパクトカーでいいかも」と乗り替えを検討している方も多いでしょう。一方で「安っぽく見えるのもなぁ…」と考えるのも、ごもっとも。今回は、そんな方々にぴったりな“大人のためのコンパクトカー”をご紹介します。<br />

先代マツダデミオをベースに作られたベリーサ、大人のためのコンパクトカーとしてピッタリな一台です。<br />
コンパクトカーとは思えぬほどのハイクオリティなインテリアデザインがウリで、このクラスには珍しく、本革シートが標準装備（2006年8月より）されています。また、フロントシートは２つ上のクラスである旧型アテンザの骨格を使用。マツダらしいキビキビした走りと、ゆったりとした乗り心地を同時に味わえるコンパクトカーで、しかも、まだ現行モデルです。<br />

そのベリーサの中から特に今回おすすめしたいのが、子離れ世代にも似合うシックなブラウンでコーディネイトされた特別仕様車「ブラウンコレクション」。1.5Lエンジンを搭載し、10・15モードで18.4km/L。<br />

専用シートは、ブラウンレザーとブラウン＆ブラックの平織りファブリックからなるハーフレザーシート。そこに大型のレザーアームシートが備わります。さらにドアトリムやグローブボックスまで内装はすべてブラウン＆ブラックに統一されています。<br />
昼間トンネルに入ったり、日が暮れると自動的にライトが点灯するオートライトシステムや、雨を感知してワイパーが自動作動するレインセンサーワイパー、そのほかイモビライザーや撥水機能付きフロントガラス＆フロントドアガラス＆ドアミラーが備わります。<br />

さらに外観ではフロント＆サイド＆リアモールや、エグゾーストパイプフィニッシャー、フロントフォグランプ＆シルバーベゼルが見た目の印象を引き締めています。<br />

2005年12月に発表されたこの車、新車時は2WDが167万5000円、4WDが186万9250円というプライスでした。もうすぐ丸3年たちますが、この原稿を書いている時点で1台だけ見つかりました。2006年式で走行距離は1.3万kmの2WD車、価格は125万円。HDDカーナビ付きでした。<br />
<br />
「数が少ないと選びにくい」という方。実は2004年12月にも、ブラウン＆ブラックのハーフレザーシート仕様の特別仕様車があるのです。そちらは「Lスタイル」。ブラウンコレクションと比べオートライトシステムやレインセンサーなどがないだけで外観＆内装は同じです。また10・15モードは16.8km/Lとなります。新車時166万9500円（2WD）/186万3750円（4WD）で、5件見つかり価格は85万～120万円。<br />
<br />
さらに言えば、2005年6月の一部改良ではグレードのLにブルーファブリック＆ブラックレザー、2006年8月にはやはりLにブラウン（こちらはもう少し明るめ）＆ブラックのフル本革シートが標準装備となっています。これらも台数は少ないですが、その中からお気に入りを選ぶのも手です。<br />
<br />
