北米、欧州はもちろん、南米やオセアニア、東南アジアや中国、南アフリカなど世界各国で販売されているクロスオーバーSUVがRAV4である。北米では2007年に11万7534台を販売し、同社のSUVで最も売れているモデルとなった。また欧州市場での販売台数は12万9373台と、モデル別販売台数でトップ5に入る人気を得ている。<br /><br />RAV4は世界各国のマーケットに合わせて様々なモデルが用意されている。北米やオーストラリアではロングボディの3列シート版が存在したり（日本国内ではヴァンガードにあたるモデル）、3.5LのV6が設定されていたりするし、欧州では2.2Lのディーゼルを搭載するモデルもある。また6速＆5速のMTも選択可能だ。<br /><br />日本仕様に近いのは同じミディアムボディの欧州仕様車。市場でのライバルはアウトランダーやエクストレイル、CR-Vなど日本勢に加え、VWティグアンも参入。真っ向対決なら、ランドローバーのフリーランダー2が挙げられるだろう。フリーランダーは日本ではほぼ倍の価格をつけるモデルだが、イギリスでの価格は同等。つまり現地のユーザーからすれば、日本ではRAV4がフリーランダーの半額で手に入れられる贅沢な状況にあるわけだ。それほど安く手に入るのなら、注目しないのは損というものだ。</td>

扱いやすいコンパクトハッチバックが揃うBセグメント、プラスαの空間とマルチ・パーパス・ビークルの利便性をもつCセグメント、この両カテゴリーが欧州の定番であった。しかし近年はその中間にあたるB+セグメントというカテゴリーに人気はシフト。欧州では2004年には実に年間67万5000台の販売を記録し、年々その数は増えつつある。<br /><br />国別で見るとドイツが最も多く、そしてイタリア、イギリス、フランス、スペインと続いており、一番人気を誇るクルマはオペルのメリーバ。プジョー206SWや三菱コルトの人気も高い。<br /><br />そんな市場に日産が満を持して投入したのがノートである。製造するのはマーチと同じ、イギリス・サンダーランド工場。ここで生産され、ロシアやドイツなどヨーロッパ各国で販売されている。またノートは、ルノーのミニMPVであるモデュスとシャーシを共有。どことなくヨーロピアンな雰囲気＆走りのテイストを感じさせるのはこのクルマがフランス車とのハーフだからだ。<br /><br />欧州ではマーチとほぼ同額の価格設定で、機能性が高いことから評価は上々。当然Uカーの人気も高く、イギリスでは走行距離3万～4万kmの2006年式が最安値で、5500ポンド（約101万円）を付けていた。日本なら走行距離5000km程度の物件が60万円台から。かなり買い得感の高さがわかるだろう。</td>

北米、欧州はもちろん、南米やオセアニア、東南アジアや中国、南アフリカなど世界各国で販売されているクロスオーバーSUVがRAV4である。北米では2007年に11万7534台を販売し、同社のSUVで最も売れているモデルとなった。また欧州市場での販売台数は12万9373台と、モデル別販売台数でトップ5に入る人気を得ている。<br /><br />RAV4は世界各国のマーケットに合わせて様々なモデルが用意されている。北米やオーストラリアではロングボディの3列シート版が存在したり（日本国内ではヴァンガードにあたるモデル）、3.5LのV6が設定されていたりするし、欧州では2.2Lのディーゼルを搭載するモデルもある。また6速＆5速のMTも選択可能だ。<br /><br />日本仕様に近いのは同じミディアムボディの欧州仕様車。市場でのライバルはアウトランダーやエクストレイル、CR-Vなど日本勢に加え、VWティグアンも参入。真っ向対決なら、ランドローバーのフリーランダー2が挙げられるだろう。フリーランダーは日本ではほぼ倍の価格をつけるモデルだが、イギリスでの価格は同等。つまり現地のユーザーからすれば、日本ではRAV4がフリーランダーの半額で手に入れられる贅沢な状況にあるわけだ。それほど安く手に入るのなら、注目しないのは損というものだ。</td>

扱いやすいコンパクトハッチバックが揃うBセグメント、プラスαの空間とマルチ・パーパス・ビークルの利便性をもつCセグメント、この両カテゴリーが欧州の定番であった。しかし近年はその中間にあたるB+セグメントというカテゴリーに人気はシフト。欧州では2004年には実に年間67万5000台の販売を記録し、年々その数は増えつつある。<br /><br />国別で見るとドイツが最も多く、そしてイタリア、イギリス、フランス、スペインと続いており、一番人気を誇るクルマはオペルのメリーバ。プジョー206SWや三菱コルトの人気も高い。<br /><br />そんな市場に日産が満を持して投入したのがノートである。製造するのはマーチと同じ、イギリス・サンダーランド工場。ここで生産され、ロシアやドイツなどヨーロッパ各国で販売されている。またノートは、ルノーのミニMPVであるモデュスとシャーシを共有。どことなくヨーロピアンな雰囲気＆走りのテイストを感じさせるのはこのクルマがフランス車とのハーフだからだ。<br /><br />欧州ではマーチとほぼ同額の価格設定で、機能性が高いことから評価は上々。当然Uカーの人気も高く、イギリスでは走行距離3万～4万kmの2006年式が最安値で、5500ポンド（約101万円）を付けていた。日本なら走行距離5000km程度の物件が60万円台から。かなり買い得感の高さがわかるだろう。</td>

ルーフパネルをアルミ化してまで低重心化にこだわっただけあり、走りは軽快そのもの。2.4Lエンジンは低速トルクが厚く、CVTとのマッチングも良好。V6モデルはどんなシーンでも余裕の走りを披露。アクセル操作に対する姿勢変化は2.4Lモデルよりも大きめだが、それをコントロールする楽しさが味わえる。</div>

日本では人気薄だが、海外では多くのファンがいるグローバルモデルといえば、このクルマ。S2000は欧州でも、北米でも、今なお圧倒的な人気を誇るスポーツカーである。販売台数自体は多くないが、海外での評価が高いことからこのクルマを選ぶ人は多い。<br /><br />S2000の海外での評価を見てみると、必ずと言っていいほどボクスターやZ4との比較され、「ボクスターよりもクイックな走り。価格も安くバリュー度が高い」などとリポートされる。このクルマの海外でのライバルはBMW Z4やボルシェボクスターなのである。日本国内ではZ4との差が68万6000円、ボクスターとの差が195万6000円もありライバルと言うのは強引かもしれない。<br /><br />しかし、イギリスではS2000のほうがZ4より3325ポンド（ 約61万円）高く、またボクスターとの価格差は5870ポンド（約108万円）まで縮まる。また北米ではZ4と2100ドル（約22万円）差、ボクスターとは1150ドル（約120万円）差となり、海外市場では日本ほどの価格差がないため、競合関係が成立するのだ。<br /><br />中古車になるとS2000の人気高からその差がさらに縮まる。イギリスでは14万km走行した2001年式が、いまだ150万円もの価格を付けており、これが最も安い価格帯なのだ。5万kmでも120万円程度の物件がある日本の市場はかなりオイシイのだ。</td>

世界を見ても唯一無二のロータリーエンジンを搭載するスポーツカー、RX-8。このクルマも世界各国で販売され、人気を得ているモデルである。海外ではインターナショナル・エンジン・オブ・ザ・イヤー（2003年）やシンガポール・カー・オブ・ザ・イヤー（2004年）、USベストスポーツカー（2004年）…そのほか、世界各国で様々なアワードを獲得し、非常に高い評価を得ているモデルでもある。<br /><br />アメリカのコンシューマーリポートにおいても、スムーズでレスポンスの良いエンジンやコントロールのしやすさを含めたハンドリングの良さなどが評価されており、オススメモデルとして紹介されている。<br /><br />世界を見回して見ると、このクルマのライバルはTTや350Z（フェアレディZ）あたりになる。スポーティな走り、グラマラスなボディデザインなど共通する部分が多いからだ。これらの中でもRX-8の人気はかなり高い。<br /><br />中古車の相場を見ると、それがよくわかるのだ。RX-8の最も安い価格帯の中古車はイギリスで7440ポンド（約137万円）、アメリカでは1万6990ドル（ 約178万円）であった。為替による違いもあるが、それでも相場は高めだ。それに比べ日本でこのクルマの中古車相場を見てみると、なんと最安値は79万円。人気薄も影響し、ダンゼン安く手に入れられるのだ。</td>
