ミニバンが欲しいけどお金がない。でも新しい車が欲しい。そんなことを言われたら誰でも困ってしまいますよね？「そんなムチャ言うなよ」と。しかしながら、あるんです、そんな一台が。「新車価格の安いコンパクトミニバンだろ」って？いやいやそんなチンケな小細工はいたしません。<br />
<br />
エンジンは2.5Lと3.5Lを搭載し、ボディは堂々たる3ナンバーサイズ。そして現行型。答えは日産プレサージュです。このプレサージュ、なんと現行型ながらも50万円を切ってきたのです！<br />
<br />
一番安いグレードの新車時価格が213万円だったので、価格は1/4以下！現行型のフルサイズミニバンがこの価格とは、かなりのサプライズです。「サプライズなプレサージュ」。語呂だってなんだかいい感じじゃないですか。<br />

2代目となる現行型のプレサージュが登場したのは、2003年6月のこと。ティアナのプラットフォームをベースに開発され、搭載するエンジンは直4の2.5LとV6の3.5L。プレスリリースの言葉を借りれば、プレサージュ最大の特徴は、「簡単らくらくシートアレンジ」だそうです。<br />
<br />
そこでまずご紹介したいのが、「セカンドシートリモコンウォークイン」。なんだそりゃ？と。もちろんご説明させていただきます。これは運転席のスイッチを押すと、2列目左側のシートが前方に移動するんです。ミニバンの場合、3列目にアクセスする時は、2列目のレバーをガシャンと引いて3列目へ乗り込むパターンが多いのですが、プレサージュはそれが運転席のスイッチ一つで済むのです。普段使う分にもラクでしょうし、知人などを乗せる時には「すげぇ、スイッチで動くんだ！」と少しばかり気分も良さそうです。<br />
<br />
2つ目は「サードシートワンタッチ床下収納」。これはもう読んで字の如し。ラゲージにあるリングを引っ張れば、バタンとワンタッチで3列目のシートが床下に収納されるという仕組みです。この操作が面倒だと、3列目を出しっぱなし、あるいはしまいっぱなし状態になり、いざ必要という時に「どうやるんだっけ？」ということになりがち。これならそんな煩わしさもありません。<br />
<br />
最後は「セカンドシート横スライド」。これもまたそのまま、2列目のシートが左右に動くのです。つまり、状況に応じてベンチシートにもキャプテンシートにもなるというわけで、多様な使い分けができるのです。<br />
<br />
<b><font color="red">■</font>スライド・電動・またスライド。おもてなし度満点の買い得ミニバン</b><br />
そうそう、シートアレンジとは違うのですが、電動スライドドアを備えているのもポイント。運転席、2列目、そしてリモコンキーなどで操作できます。この機能はセカンドシートリモコンウォークインと併せて使いたいところです。<br />
3列目に乗る予定の人が車に近づいたら、リモコンキーでスライドドアをオープン。「おぉすげぇ」と驚いている間に運転席に座り、セカンドシートリモコンウォークインのスイッチをポチっ。するとどうでしょう。乗る側としてみたら、勝手にドアが開き、シートが前に移動し、3列目に誘われるわけです。<br />
<br />
そのほか、バックドアガラスハッチは、車の後ろにスペースがない状況でも荷物の出し入れが行えるなど、プレサージュはとても実用面の使い勝手に優れたミニバンなのです。<br />

さて、そんなプレサージュがどれだけ安いか。<br />
同年(2003年)の10月にデビューしたオデッセイと比較してみましょう。ほぼ同じ条件で比べてみると<br />

走行距離の少ない、かなり状態の良い物件をチョイスしてみても、プレサージュは100万円以下。オデッセイは約150万円です。新車時価格の差（オデッセイのほうが17万円高い）を考慮しても、その差は明らか。オトク度でいったら圧倒的にプレサージュなのです。<br />

<p>「輸入車」に思い浮かべるイメージは、高級車かもしれません。しかし輸入車に乗る本当の醍醐味は、国産車にない味わいに浸れるからではないでしょうか? そんなわけで100万円で狙える、国産車にない味わいがある輸入車をピックアップしてみました。気になる車は中古車カタログや物件をチェックしてみてください。意外と高嶺の花ではないかもしれません。</p>
<p>第10位はルノーカングー(現行)。ヨーロッパでは商用車として使われていますから、使い勝手の良さはピカイチ。キュートなルックスながら、想像以上にしっかり走ることに“さすがヨーロッパ車"と思うことでしょう。家族で使ってもよし、仕事で使ってもよし、趣味に使ってもよし、とにかくどんな用途にも使えるところが初めての輸入車としてオススメです。使い方はアナタの想像力次第、と言っても言いすぎではありません。輸入車イコール高級、ではありません。</p>
<p>第9位はシボレーカマロ(絶版)。燃費を気にする人にはオススメできません。しかし、高速道路での燃費は思いのほか良好です。長距離移動を前提に作られているからでしょうか。アクセルを踏み込んで、ガバーっと進む様はどんな車でも味わえるわけではありません。最近、アメリカ車もグローバル化の流れで個性がなくなりつつあります。古き良きアメ車を手頃に味わってみるには、カマロがオススメです。高いのか安いのかわかりませんし、女性ウケするかもしれません。</p>
<p>第8位はM・ベンツVクラス(旧型)。ミニバンはミニバンでも、M・ベンツのマークが付いているだけでちょっとした差別化が図れます。実際、シートの取り外しができて使い勝手は悪くありません。だだっ広い商用車のような使い方もできますし、ミニバスのような使い方もできます。直4エンジンのV230のタマ数が多いでしょうが、トルクフルな走りを満喫できるV6エンジンを搭載したV280を狙いたいところです。あの角張ったデザイン、なぜか古臭く見えません。</p>
<p>第7位はキャデラックセビル(旧型)。一応、グローバル市場を視野に入れた開発がなされたということがウリでしたが、アメリカンな雰囲気が色濃く残っています。どこまでもゆったり、走り続けられそうな雰囲気こそがアメ車の醍醐味。セビルはボディがしっかりしている割に、足回りが柔らかくセッティングされているんです。ロングドライブに出かけたくなることでしょう。高級な雰囲気は、今でも色褪せていません。にもかかわらず100万円で十分狙えるのも嬉しいところです。</p>
<p>第6位はフィアットバルケッタ(絶版)。マツダロードスターのような人馬一体感はありません。それでもオススメするのは、“雰囲気勝ち"している点があるからです。ユニークなピニンファリーナデザインは、普遍的と言ってもいいほど。オープンカーでゆったり流すなら、コストパフォーマンス的に最高の選択肢かもしれません。安っぽさはないのに、100万円で十分狙えますから。AT時代なのに、MTしか設定されていないところも通っぽいです。女性ウケ間違いなし?</p>
