今回のおいしい中古車は、自分をオシャレに演出したいという人にもってこいの一台、VWニュービートルカブリオレをご紹介します。クーペのニュービートルは1999年デビューということもあり、以前からかなり安くなっていましたが、カブリオレのほうはなかなか値が下がらない状況が続いていたんです。<br />
<br />
ところが2回目の車検を前に手放した人が多かったのか、ここのところなぜかグングン安くなってきて、今や最安値の物件は129.9万円！新車時の価格が333万円だったので、なんと200万円以上のプライスダウン！「興味はあるんだけど高くてね」という人には、この急激なプライスダウンは聞き捨てならないお話でしょう！こういう記事を書いていながら恐縮ですが、私自身もビックリした次第です。<br />
<br />
というわけで、さっそくニュービートルカブリオレの紹介に移りましょう。カブリオレはクーペのニュービートルから遅れること約4年の2003年6月に登場（つまり2008年の6月で2回目の車検）。肝心のルーフの開閉は手動でロックを外す必要はありますが、最近のオープンカー同様にもちろん電動です。開閉時間はたったの13秒。ちょっとした信号待ちの間に開閉できるので、突然の雨にも十分対応できるってワケです。<br />

また、オープンカーともなれば、気になるのはルーフを開けた時にどれだけ荷物が積めるかという点。荷室が犠牲になるオープンカーが多いなかでニュービートルカブリオレのルーフは、後部座席の後ろにちょこんとはみ出たように格納されます。これって普通だったら格好悪く見えるのですが、ニュービートルだとなぜかオシャレに見えるんですね、そのはみ出し具合が。<br />
<br />
そのおかげか、荷室の間口は狭いものの、絶対量は決して不便を感じるほどではありません。2人で乗る分には後席にも荷物は置けますからね。<br />

<b><font color="red">■</font>“マル”っとした外見はもちろん、機能面の充実も見逃せない</b><br />
居住性の面で見ると、後席は決して広くはありませんが、大人も十分乗れます。さすがに後席に座って東京から大阪まで行くのは厳しいと思われますが…。ただ、それはルーフを閉じている場合に限っての話。オープンにすれば開放感がグンとアップするので、後席であっても狭さなんかこれっぽっちも感じません。<br />
<br />
この手の車の場合、エンジンなんかどうでもいいという感もありますが、エンジンは直4の2Lを搭載しています。ミッションはなんと6AT。5年も前に6ATを積んでいたとは驚きです。さらに安全面もしっかりしていて、横転した時などはロールバーが立ち上がるロールオーバープロテクションシステムを採用しています。<br />

さて、冒頭の価格の話に戻りますと、現在最安値の129.9万円の物件は、走行8.5万km、修復歴なし。これでも十分魅力的だと思うのですが、走行距離が気になるという人は、走行2.3万kmの修復歴なしで149.8万円という物件もあります。価格が高くなったとはいえ、それでも半額以下ですからね。かなりオトクです。<br />
<br />
自分をオシャレに演出して彼女とドライブに行くもよし、気の合う仲間とワイワイ出かけるもよし、この車ならたとえ1人で運転していても十分に楽しめるはずです。想像してみてください。オープンにして光と風を浴びながら海沿いを運転している光景を。それだけで思わずに顔がほころんできませんか？<br />
