侍JAPANの祝勝ムードも一段落した今日この頃。いまだJAPANは不景気真っただ中。そのおかげかはわかりませんが、M･ベンツなどの高級車が軒並み相場を下げています。そんななか今回チョイスした一台は、M･ベンツのSLK。2シーターオープンの見るからに浮世離れした車ですが、その現行型がもう200万円台で売られています。<!-- short sentence end --><br />

現行型のSLKが登場したのは2004年の9月。ルーフにはバリオルーフと呼ばれる電動開閉式のメタルトップが採用され、ボタン一つで開閉可能などセレブ色の強い車です。デビュー当初のエンジンはV6の3.5Lを搭載したSLK350のみでしたが、後に同じくV6の3Lを搭載したSLK280を追加。さらには直4の1.8Lエンジンをスーパーチャージャーで武装したSLK200コンプレッサーもラインナップされています。<br />

また、ミッションは7Gトロニックという電子制御の7ATが搭載されており（SLK200コンプレッサーは5AT)、同社が誇るスーパースポーツ、SLRマクラーレンばりのスタイルに負けないパワーユニットとなっています。<br />

ちなみにM･ベンツのスポーツモデルで忘れちゃいけないAMG。こちらももちろん設定されていて、バケモノみたいな5.5LのV8エンジンを搭載しています。めっぽう速いのは間違いないのですが、その分価格もバケモノで、デビュー当初の新車価格は959.7万円。今新車で買おうとしたら、愛しの諭吉先生が1000枚あっても足りません。<br />
<br />

<b><font color="red">■</font>不景気の影響か、すでに200万円台突入！</b><br />

通常のおいしい中古車ならこういったトンガリモデルはまだ高いので除外、となることが多いのですが、SLKに関しては、ノーマルモデルもAMGモデルもどちらも安いんです。<br />
<br />
ということで、どれだけ安いのか。まずはノーマルモデルからいきましょう。最安値は238万円。「でもそれって一番下のSLK200コンプレッサーだろ？」とお思いの方も多いでしょうが、さにあらず。3.5LのV6に7ATを搭載したSLK350なんです。さすがに最安値の物件は修復歴ありでしたが、258万円で走行3.4万km、修復歴なしといった物件もありました。当時の新車価格は672万円なので、1/3近くで買えるわけです。<br />

一方AMGモデルのSLK55はというと、走行4.0万km、修復歴なしの物件が353万円で売られています。こちらの新車価格は約1000万円。値落ち額で言えば650万円近いわけで、こちらもかなりオトクです。なにせ現行型ですからね。<br />
<br />
とはいっても、200万円以上であることは事実。「こんなご時世に買えるわけないだろ」と言う方もいらっしゃると思います。しかし、裏を返せば、こんなご時世だからこそこの値段で売られているわけです。<br />
<br />
世の中がここまで不景気でなければ、これほどの値段は付けられていないでしょう。ある意味、千載一遇のチャンスでもあるわけです。少しでもゆとりがあるなら、このチャンスを逃す手はありませんよ。<br />

<h3>スポーティ、エレガント、パーソナルの三拍子</h3>

<p>第10位はシボレーコルベット(旧型)。アメリカン・マッスルカーの代名詞的な存在です。5.7LのV8という大排気量エンジンがもたらす、トルクフルな走りはやみつきです。今のうちに味わっておかないと、絶滅の危機すらあります。ワイド・アンド・ローのスタイリングはスーパーカーのセオリーに則っていますし、リトラクタブルヘッドライトも今では珍しくなりました。200万円台で購入できるスポーツカーのなかでは、もっともコストパフォーマンスが高いかもしれません。</p>
<p>第9位はBMW3シリーズクーペ(旧型)。4気筒モデルなら軽快感を、6気筒モデルならトルクフルな走りを満喫できます。前後重量配分には相当こだわっていて、BMWたらしめるスポーティな走りは絶品です。コンパクトボディながら大人4名がちゃんと乗れますし、トランクルームもそこそこ広いので実用性もちゃんと兼ね備えています。それでいて前期型なら100万円もあれば買えてしまうコストパフォーマンスの高さがあるので、ファーストカーとしてもオススメできます。</p>
<p>第8位はアルファGT(現行)。クーペなのに、なんとなくずんぐりむっくりしていて愛くるしい感じがします。インテリアはアルファロメオらしいセクシーな雰囲気たっぷりで、エクステリアとのギャップが意表を突いてきます。アルファロメオの得意技2つを一台に押し込んだ感じ、とも言えるでしょう。走りはそこまでスポーティではないのですが、高揚感を味わわせてくれるのが摩訶不思議です。リアシートもちゃんと座れるし、ラゲージスペースも思いのほか広く実用的。</p>

<p>第7位はプジョー406クーペ(絶版)。もはや中古車市場での流通台数はごくわずか。風の流れを表現したかのような流線型ボディは、「エレガント」以外に表現にしようがありません。小回りが利かなかったり、排気量の割に加速しなかったり、文句のつけどころはあるのですが、重量感のある走りはエレガントさを感じさせてくれます。同じ頃のピニンファリーナデザインだからか、フェラーリ456と似ているような気もします。プジョー版「プアマンズフェラーリ」?!</p>
<p>第6位はTT(旧型)。初代TTは世界に衝撃を与えたと言ってもいいほど、デザイン的に優れたモデルでした。内外装への徹底的なこだわりは、見るたびに新鮮味を感じさせてくれるほどです。100万円台前半から狙えることを考えれば、コストパフォーマンスに相当優れているでしょう。4WDモデルの直進安定性は、価格の高いライバルをも遥かに凌ぐほどです。今のレベルで考えれば若干タイムラグを感じさせるターボエンジンも、“味わい”として楽しめることでしょう。</p>
