筒内直噴エンジン＋ターボの採用はドイツのメーカーが積極的。ここで登場するプジョーにしてもミニクーパーSのターボエンジンと共通になっている。国内メーカーではマツダやスズキが直噴ターボを設定する。<br />
直噴ターボの特徴は高い圧縮比と極低回転から最大過給を得られる設定とすることで、低い回転から大トルクを発生している点。それだけにターボというより、トルクのある1～2クラス上の排気量エンジンのような乗り味。そのトルクを生かすセッティングや、直噴される燃料による燃焼室内の冷却効率が上がり、無駄な燃料を使わないので燃費も良く、また高い圧縮と直噴ならではの燃焼効率の良さで、排気ガスもきれいとなるのだ。</td>

筒内直噴エンジン＋ターボの採用はドイツのメーカーが積極的。ここで登場するプジョーにしてもミニクーパーSのターボエンジンと共通になっている。国内メーカーではマツダやスズキが直噴ターボを設定する。<br />
直噴ターボの特徴は高い圧縮比と極低回転から最大過給を得られる設定とすることで、低い回転から大トルクを発生している点。それだけにターボというより、トルクのある1～2クラス上の排気量エンジンのような乗り味。そのトルクを生かすセッティングや、直噴される燃料による燃焼室内の冷却効率が上がり、無駄な燃料を使わないので燃費も良く、また高い圧縮と直噴ならではの燃焼効率の良さで、排気ガスもきれいとなるのだ。</td>

<h3>新車の国産中型セダンを買う予算でもＯＫ</h3>
<p>単に新車時からの値落ち率だけじゃなく、車の出来映えも考慮して選んでみました。セレブが愛用するには、それなりの理由があるものです。そして一般的に輸入車は高いといわれていますけど、こうしてみると“お得”な高級車ってたくさんあるものです。なかには国産中型セダンの新車価格なみで狙えるものもあるほどですから。ちょっと気になる車は、カタログや物件をご覧ください。</p>
<p>第５位はＶＷトゥアレグ（現行）。ＶＷ“グループ”のメリットを最大限に生かした点がイケてます。Ｖ６モデルは兄弟車のポルシェカイエンとほぼ一緒。Ｖ８モデルはＶＷオリジナルで、Ｗ１２モデルはベントレーコンチネンタルＧＴと同じエンジン（ターボは非装着）。ＶＷのエンブレムをまといながらポルシェやベントレーと一緒、っていううんちくと謎めいた存在がセレブっぽいです。中古車は３００万円台から探せますが、一般的には値段不詳でしょう。素晴らしい走行性能も褒めておきます。</p>
<p>第４位はＭ・ベンツＳＬクラス（現行）。いつの時代もセレブに愛されているＳＬクラスは、Ｍ・ベンツが誇る最新技術の結晶であるとも言えます。オープンにして走れば、風の巻き込み量の少なさにＭ・ベンツの“真面目さ”がひしひしと伝わってきます。ちゃんと乗る人のことを考えています。走りよし、見映えよし、ついでに現行モデルはデビューから時間が経ってきたこともあって、新車時価格の半分くらいで狙えるようになってきました。随分安くなったとはいえ、５００万円くらい…。</p>
<p>第３位はＢＭＷ７シリーズ（現行）。上位３台はリーズナブルな高級中古車の“王道”ですが、あらためてその魅力を。デビュー時期がライバルである現行Ｍ・ベンツＳクラスよりも早かったため、中古車相場はライバルに比べて“こなれた感”があります。特に前期型は３００万円台で狙えてしまうほどです。最近のこの手の車はＰＣのようにプログラミングをアップデートすれば、様々なセッティングが最適化されます。リーズナブルにフラッグシップを楽しめる、という点で魅力的。</p>
<p>第２位はアウディＡ８（現行）。アウディは劇的な変化を遂げています。かつては“ちょっと高級なＶＷ”くらいにしか思われていませんでしたが、今ではれっきとした高級ブランド。ブランドイメージだけでなく、実際に商品の素晴らしさがあってこそのステップアップでしょう。それを評価したセレブたちが新車で購入しているのだと思います。ただ、中古車相場は４００万円～と破格です。中古車ユーザーのあいだで需要が少ないことの証でしょう。実際に試乗してみれば、その魅力に気づかされるはず。</p>
<p>第１位はジャガーＸＪシリーズ（現行）。ジャガーらしいスタイリングを維持しつつ、ようやくライバルにひけを取らない走行性能を手にした現行モデル。イギリスの“唯我独尊”的な要素は減りましたけど個人的にはナンの文句もなく、素晴らしい車だと思います。それが３００万円から探せる。何がしたいのかよくわからないＳタイプやフォードモンデオがベースのＸタイプとか出すから、ブランドイメージが悪化したのでは？ヘンにラインナップを拡充したことが、ブランド全体に影響を及ぼすとは…。<br>
