その特徴を最大限に活用しているのが軽自動車だろう。排気量は660㏄と決まっている中で、いかに余裕ある走りを可能にするかを考えた場合、ターボの装着が実に有効なのである。<br />
また走りの余裕が燃費にも好影響を与えるのが軽ターボなのだ。特に高速走行などでその真価を発揮する。ノンターボはパワー不足を補うべくエンジンを回してやらなくてはならないが、ターボならパワーに余裕があり、エンジンを低い回転で走らせることが可能で結果燃費がノンターボよりいい場合が多い。<br />
日常の足グルマなら自然吸気もありだが、ファーストカーとして軽を選ぶならターボ車が絶対にオススメとなる。</td>

その特徴を最大限に活用しているのが軽自動車だろう。排気量は660㏄と決まっている中で、いかに余裕ある走りを可能にするかを考えた場合、ターボの装着が実に有効なのである。<br />
また走りの余裕が燃費にも好影響を与えるのが軽ターボなのだ。特に高速走行などでその真価を発揮する。ノンターボはパワー不足を補うべくエンジンを回してやらなくてはならないが、ターボならパワーに余裕があり、エンジンを低い回転で走らせることが可能で結果燃費がノンターボよりいい場合が多い。<br />

<h4 class="title2">ムーヴの後部座席は「本当に軽自動車？」と感じるほどの広さ</h4>
まずは発車前の静的な“後席チェック”から。<br />
「これはいい！」と素直に実感したのは、ムーヴの後席だ。理由は、シートがかなりしっかりしているから。軽だから・・・と期待しないで乗り込むと、座面部分の厚みはあるしサイズ（前後の長さ）も十分。背もたれも、厚みこそ決して贅沢なものではないが、ヘッドレストを引き上げて着座状態を作ってみると、ヨーロッパのコンパクトカーのように、大人でもちゃんと座れる。さらにスペースもタップリしていていい。頭上に余裕があるのは当然として、足元の広々感は驚くばかり。床も平らでいい。<br />
<br />
対してワゴンRは、ムーヴと比べるとやや不利。頭上空間はまずまずで、シート座面も平板ではなくオシリを受け止める形状に工夫されてはいる。が、全体にクッションは薄めで良くも悪くも軽自動車的に割り切った印象。また試乗車個体の症状なのか、シート全体がわずかにグラつくのも、チープさを助長してしまっていた。
<h4 class="title2">ワゴンＲも広いが、ムーヴと比べるとやや不利に・・・</h4>
では、走らせたらどうか？<br />
まずムーヴから。軽自動車ならではなのが、信号待ちなどで停車中、誰かが動くと車全体が揺れること。が、これについてスタッフからは「誰かがワーッ！と喜べばみんなで楽しさを分かち合える」と、セールスマンのようなコメントがあった。とはいえ“広さ”は絶賛で「足元もヒザの前にコブシ3つ分くらいある」との証言。「小型2BOX車の後席を凌ぐ」という意見も。前席下に足が入る配慮、リクライニングが利くことなどの評価も高い。<br />
<br />
走行中の振動、騒音も「ミニバンの3列目よりいい」。乗り味はしなやかだが、その分、コーナーでの「ロールがくる」印象はある。とはいえ乗り心地は悪くないという。4名乗車状態でエンジン回転を上げた場合も、「思いのほうか静か。ビーン！と超耳障りな音はしない」。<br />

ワゴンRも、後席の広さは満足のいくレベル。ただし助手席後ろの同乗者から「アンダーBOXでつま先がつかえる」とチェックが入った。後席はムーヴに対し座面の凹凸があるデザインのため「微妙にモモの裏が下から押される感じ」があるという。前述したシートのガタも、走行中は体重で抑え込んでいるせいか「薄っぺらく座面も短いが、そんなに気にならない」という。コーナリング中のロールはムーヴに対し、前席のほうが実感するらしい。乗り心地は、ややゴツつき感あり。エンジン音は決して静かではないが「（硬派な）エンジンっぽい音」と、決して不評ではなかった。

<h5>今回のまとめ</h5>
さすが打倒ワゴンＲを前面に打ち出しているムーヴ。室内空間は驚きの広さだ。ただ<a href="/contents/editor/_2561.html">積載性テスト</a>でも触れたとおり、この広さを生み出すには荷室の広さを犠牲にしなくてはならない。荷物も積んで・・・というときはワゴンＲと同様の感触になるはず。でも毎回荷物を満載するわけではないし、やっぱり広いに越したことはない・・・ということで、ムーヴの勝ち！

そんな中、特に注目しているのが、この特別仕様車「ジオーレ」です。発表は2002年10月3日。つまり5年前ですから、2度目の車検を前に手放すオーナーも出てくるのではないかと思われます。<br />
<br />
ベースグレードとタイプＶにそれぞれジオーレが用意され、いずれもベースに対して25万円高の368.0万円/386.0万円（いずれも東京の販売価格）でしたから、台数もそれほど伸びなかったのではないでしょうか。<br />

さて、その25万円の中身を見てみましょう。<br />
●ボディカラーは専用の2色。写真のダークカーディナルレッド・パールとロイヤルネイビーブルー・パール。さらにボンネットに2本のゴールドピンストライプが入ります。<br />
●BBS製鍛造アルミはゴールド！<br />
●専用タン内装で、本革シート・ドアライニングセンターパッド・センターコンソールにはキルティング加工が施されます。<br />
●タイプＶ専用の特別装備であったステアリングが付きます。<br />
そのほかに専用ドアミラーやフロアカーペットを装備。<br />

しかもこのジオーレに箔をつけたのが、リリースの約2カ月後に受賞した「オートカラーアウォード2003<ファッションカラー賞)>」。内外装の色合いが評価されたようです。<br />

こういう、ちょっと大人っぽいS2000ってなかなかないでしょ！？ というのも実は約6年間も販売されているというのに、登場した特別仕様車はわずかにこの1モデルだけなのです！ ほら、ますます希少に思えてきませんか？<br />

何しろ内装がキレイですからね。今の時期、冬の晴れた日に、ダウンを着てマフラー巻いて、グローブしてヒーターをガンガンに利かせて、涼しい顔して走るなんてのがサマになります。街中や高速道路ではスラっと流す感じで走って、ちょっとカーブが続くような、例えば峠道ではシフトを一つ落としてVTECの高回転域の音を楽しみながら・・・という大人な走りにピッタリではないでしょうか。<br />
